Maria Gabriele Baker

Maria Gabriele Baker is a writer of fiction, poetry and drama, as well as a translator of all things German. She’s a member of Verbal Supply Company, an audible writers’ collective dedicated to bringing writers of various genres together in live readings. 

Adriana Green

Adriana Green is a cross-genre writer who moved to Brooklyn just to be a part of the unique Pratt MFA in Writing program. Prior to attending Pratt, she worked in the non-profit and theatre worlds in Richmond, VA. She is currently working on her first manuscript and writes about race, death, grieving, and America. 

Lyric Hunter

Lyric Hunter was born in Queens and lives in Brooklyn. She writes poetry and works in a bookstore. She received her BFA in Fine Art from the Cooper Union in 2012. Her chapbook Swallower was published by Ugly Duckling Presse in 2014 and her work has also appeared in Poems by Sunday, Belleville Park Pages, and Arava Review.

Sade Murphy

Sade Murphy is a poet and artist from Houston born five years and one day after Beyonce. They graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Studio Art and Theology. Their studio practice includes printmaking, book arts, installation and silk painting. Sade's debut book of poetry, Dream Machine, was published in 2014 by co-im-press.

Geoffrey Olsen

Geoffrey Olsen grew up in Amesbury, Massachusetts and has lived in Brooklyn, New York since 2007. He has published two chapbooks: End Notebook (2008) and Not of Distends * Address Panicked (2011).

Laura Pérez Muñoz

Laura Pérez Muñoz graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, in 2015 with a BA in Psychology. Laura is a poetry and fiction writer. 

Jive Poetic

Jive Poetic received his BA in Media Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has performed his work in venues ranging from the Australian House of Parliament to Thom Thumb Theater in the United Kingdom. He is the co-founder of The SOUNDBITES POETRY FESTIVAL, the only performance poetry festival in New York City and currently hosts the open slam at Nuyorican Poet’s Café. When he is not on tour or hosting Jive Poetic teaches performance poetry and hip-hop workshops to at risk youth in the New York Tri-State area.

Ana Reyes-Bonar

Ana Reyes-Bonar is a born and raised Texan-Puerto Rican currently living in Brooklyn. Her essays, non-fiction work and video essays all explore the idea of ones relationship to their environment and spaces. She has been published in small zines and is looking forward to all of the work produced in her time at Pratt.

Stephen Ruiz

Stephen Ruiz is a screenwriter, actor, and rapper (as Stevie McFly). His produced works include Strawberry Wine (filmed 2009, unreleased) and the pilot for Hollywood East (2009). He released his first mixtape, God Hates Swag, in 2013. He is the creator of The N-Word, a sitcom webseries. 

Diamond Sharp

Diamond Sharp is a poet and writer from Chicago. Her work has been featured in [PANK], Winter Tangerine, Beltway Quarterly, and others. She is an alumna of Wellesley College.

Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks is a poet whose work has appeared in Alight, Austin, IPF, Kinfolks, Body Literature, and has been performed in Tulane University’s Vagina Monologues. Sasha is the creator of Poets for Ferguson
